Without dedicated volunteers, each service and event would not be possible. Volunteering at Point Church is not just about doing "stuff," serving presents opportunities for attenders to discover their full redemptive potential and commit to something bigger than themselves.
Here are some entry points to serving at Point Church:
1. Guest Relations Team
This team welcomes every guest who enters our doors. Plus they collect the offering and assist at the Resource Center. It's pretty simple to serve - show up 30 minutes early once a month.
2. Hospitality Team
This team prepares the breakfast bar each week and cleans it up at the end of each service. It's also pretty simple to serve - show up 45 minutes early once per month.
3. Parking Attendants
The Parking Team helps direct our guests to the convenient parking areas - show up 30 minutes prior to your scheduled service.
4. A/V Team
This team runs the sound, lighting and visual elements of our services and events. No experience necessary - on the job training provided!
5. Worship Arts Team
This team is vital to our services. If you sing or play an instrument this is a great way to get plugged in and serve at The Point. Worship Arts Team involvement requires an audition.
6. Children's Ministry
The Point is committed to providing a safe, secure and progressive program for Children. If you like working with children this may be a great place to serve. All volunteers for this ministry have to do a background check and interview process to safeguard our children.
7. Office Team
This team helps lighten the load of our office staff by preparing worship packets, answering calls, assisting with mailings, etc. So if you are a 'behind the scenes' person this is it. Very flexible schedule allows you to serve when it is convenient for you.
We will pair you up with a qualified person for training. We promise to give you the tools you need to serve well.
