Todd Bishop

Todd Bishop serves as Lead Pastor of The Point Church, which he launched in 2008.  The Point is the first successful church plant on Long Island by the Assembly of God in 20 years.  Under Todd’s leadership The Point has introduced hundreds of people to a relationship with Jesus and has experienced consistent growth since its inception.  The Point has partnered financially and relationally with 6 other new churches and is planning on launching 10 new churches on Long Island by 2020.

In 2009, Pastor Todd was recognized by the Assemblies of God as one of the 25 Groundbreaking Church Planters in our movement. He was also honored during the 2009 General Council of the Assemblies of God with an Award of Excellence for his efforts in Church Planting.  Pastor Todd also was awarded the distinction of “Young Alumni of The Year” from Central Bible College in 2010.

Pastor Todd excels in leadership development and in strategic vision.  He is also extremely creative in his approach to presenting the Gospel of Jesus via video, visual illustrations and graphic design.  He blogs regularly (www.toddbishop.tv) and is an active Twitter Junkie (www.twitter.com/ToddRBishop).

Pastor Todd is married to his beautiful bride, Mary, and they live on Central Long Island with their two children, Malachi and Abigayl.
